A Shared Vision for the Future of Skills

The conference opened with a compelling keynote from Ummuhan Bardak of the European Training Foundation, who explored global trends shaping the future of work: digitalization, AI integration, shifting education models, and the urgency of adaptability. Her message was clear: future-proof skills are no longer optional—they’re essential.

In response, institutional leaders like Dr. Ejvis Gishti Shehi, Director of NAVETQ, emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and reimagining vocational education to align with global shifts. Edlira Muedini, Helvetas Country Manager, presented innovative youth employment initiatives that show what’s possible when development actors and local systems work together.

TalentsLink: Making the Future of Skills Tangible

While the conference featured diverse perspectives, TalentsLink’s role stood out in making the dialogue actionable. Represented by a strong team—Erinda Zhupani, Lutjona Lula, Violeta Hyseni Kelmendi, Nadire Selimi, and Anastasia Bekish—we brought in our field experience in:
