🚀 TalentsLink at the Heart of Albania’s Future Skills Dialogue: Bridging Talent, Innovation, and Opportunityv
Tirana, Albania | October 2025 — As Albania accelerates its journey toward a future-ready workforce, TalentsLink is proud to have contributed to a national dialogue on skills, employment, and innovation during a high-level conference that gathered institutional leaders, international experts, and key ecosystem players.
Held with the support of Helvetas and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the event centered on one question: Are we truly preparing today’s learners for tomorrow’s jobs?
At TalentsLink, this question is at the core of our mission. We believe in empowering youth, linking talent with market opportunities, and building a skills ecosystem that is both responsive and resilient.
🎤 A Shared Vision for the Future of Skills
The conference opened with a compelling keynote from Ummuhan Bardak of the European Training Foundation, who explored global trends shaping the future of work: digitalization, AI integration, shifting education models, and the urgency of adaptability. Her message was clear: future-proof skills are no longer optional—they’re essential.
In response, institutional leaders like Dr. Ejvis Gishti Shehi, Director of NAVETQ, emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and reimagining vocational education to align with global shifts. Edlira Muedini, Helvetas Country Manager, presented innovative youth employment initiatives that show what’s possible when development actors and local systems work together.
🤝 TalentsLink: Making the Future of Skills Tangible
While the conference featured diverse perspectives, TalentsLink’s role stood out in making the dialogue actionable. Represented by a strong team—Erinda Zhupani, Lutjona Lula, Violeta Hyseni Kelmendi, Nadire Selimi, and Anastasia Bekish—we brought in our field experience in:
- Bridging youth with employers through skills-based matchmaking
- Supporting business-to-business (B2B) partnerships that create real employment opportunities
- Promoting demand-driven training offers aligned with emerging market needs
- Facilitating platforms where youth v
- oices, business needs, and institutional mandates meet
Our presence at the conference was more than symbolic. We actively engaged in the group work sessions, offering concrete proposals to integrate real-time labour market data into training design, build str
onger public-private linkages, and promote entrepreneurial mindsets within vocational education.
